As we are entering the Cancer era, we are in Tarot language entering the time when we have to deal with our progress, self-discipline, willpower, the wise use of energy, self-control, emotions and sometimes use intelligent way to deal with lot’s of melodramatic experiences, get out of subjective mode and see other paths for resolving the problem and find the strength deep inside.
Cancerians are, as well as your Tarot preacher (me 😀 ) very sensible and often with a one or 1000 conflicts within 🙂 . For this time all of you can sense some inner battles but they really have the good potential for your own victory. Like the Major Arcana, The Chariot which is connected to the sign of Cancer tells us- bring balance to all areas of life and know that when this happens there also comes the many blessings of the Universe.
Card is also connected with Sagittarius, which influence with boldness and power to seek for the truth.
The Cancer connection is describing an excellent memory, empathy, and nurturing skills as well as need of balance.
Interesting enough, Chariot card is connected both with Moon which is all about emotions, change, subconscious and by Mercury which is all about communication, common sense, verbalisation etc.
So you can conclude that Chariot Arcana is about duality. We have Cancer and Sagittarius, we have Moon and Mercury, illustration on the card is showing us (Rider-Waite deck) two sphynx which represent the opposite forces, two ways to go- but wherever you go, you can’t go away from yourself, you can’t escape emotions and you can’t escape confrontations.
Unite your opposite sides. Balance your mind and your feelings, be brave and remember that time heals everything, commit to memory that all ups and downs have led you to this point in life, use all experiences smart for creating the better future..
One of my favorite quotes about Chariot Arcana is:
“The Chariot is an image of our inner struggle between the various different parts of the personality. We are made up of many feelings, thoughts and notions which may tug in different directions. Whenever we feel torn inside, perhaps wanting to do something we feel guilty about, the image of The Chariot may be conjured. A message of The Chariot is that all opposites can stand side by side and the identity of each is made more distinct by virtue of its opposing characteristics. Without conflict in our lives that induces us to change and grow we may stagnate. The conflict makes us dissatisfied with our present way of living, and encourages us to find new solutions. Were we free of conflicts we might never risk the challenge of moving onwards and upwards to a higher level of life.”
The card of Chariot is connected with Cypress , it helps with menstrual cycle, regulation of energy and with mood swings, it is also a diuretic and tonic.
So, use this Sun in Cancer to explore your own emotions, and to say them out loud, contemplate on them, free them through exercises, relaxations, art, music, cooking for others, making something, just free everything that is bothering you. Don’t be sassy and easily hurt by words and actions of others, you could overreact unnecessarily. Take a swim, walk by the ocean, sea, river, lake..
Happy first day of Summer to ya’ll, I hope it will be long and warm, and Cancerians don’t be afraid, say what is needed to be said, but say it in a nice way, like only you know how 😉
