Happy Two’s day on Thursday. Today is TWO, meaning today is a good day for cooperation, teamwork and finding compromises inside relationship. Two is of the receptive nature and comes just after independent number one, which we connected to Aries/Mars energy in the past.

In general world we can meet number two in lots of places. Most living beings are born with two eyes, two ears, two butt cheeks, two hands. Even our teeth come in pairs. Two seems to be very common number after all. We see it in our DNA, in double helix, and well dualism around us and inside us. We have two most important and most visible lights; Moon and Sun that rule our sleeping and waking up schedules but also rule our vitality and emotions.

After 1, Mars ruled number (Aries) got tired of his independence and he wanted a pair, someone that would reflect his own behavior and finally we get number 2. Number that we connect to receptivity, or at least possibility of receptivity.

Number 2 is connected to mirroring, reflecting but also cooperating, coming together in polite manner. In astrology we can witness number 2 through the aspect of opposition (180°), one of main, strong and challenging aspects.

beeinherbonnet:“ “The probability of separate worlds meeting is very small. The lure of it is immense. We send starships. We fall in love.” - Jeanette Winterson ”
“Under the Stars Aligned” @ Caitlin Russell

“The probability of separate worlds meeting is very small. The lure of it is immense. We send starships. We fall in love.”

Jeanette Winterson

It’s very challenging because both sides in opposition are equally valuable and independent and often times unwilling/knowing to find common language or common working ground. Often times we witness opposition as nagging, confrontation and discord rather than cooperation, coming together for common purpose thing. But it’s not impossible. It’s simply irritating and hard until we both reflect and accept. And that’s what number two is all about- cooperation, reflection and practical purpose.

It takes two. It takes two to reflect each other (1+1=2) but to realize that 1+1 is still 1+1. Both sides offer equal amount into the relationship but from different sides. And this of course creates clashes in almost everybody’s lives. Even in ones avoiding conflict (which can also be problem of number 2 since it strives for peace and balance).

I don't know why I'm giggling maniacally at midnight while reading this but I can't stop help me

It’s interesting that oppositions are not unwanted aspect in synastry, more so, many astrologers smile when they see few challenging aspects in relationships charts. Reason is simple. Challenging aspects give us something to work on and work with, we are cleansing. In oppositions we often times purge through clashes and fights until we balance through midpoint, and that is often achieved through years of practice. In other cases we have other extreme of opposition; and that is avoidance. Avoiding confrontation, conflicts and arguments because we don’t want to get hurt or hurt another person. Avoiding conflict usually creates resentment and simply covers demons under rug. None of these two extremes is what we’re trying to achieve in two, and that is balance of both.

In opposition both sides must be satisfied because both are equally worth. If not, we can expect tensions arise. Something like teeter totter, going from one side to another depending on desires and feelings.

Number 2 as Moon & Taurus energy

Number 2 is not only connected to opposition. We have #2 sign of the Zodiac, Taurus represented by this number, sign that is Venus ruled., and sign of Moon’s exaltation. Marriage and romance, family and care is very important to #2.

Yet, through Tarot we meet Two through High Priestess and her possibility of reception, her rich intuitive nature, her holiness. And this is true. If we connect this number with astrology, we connect it to Moon and Taurus. It is the energy that is very similar to Moon’s exaltation.

People born having #2 as their life path or destiny or any important number are the ones that are very aware of other people’s feelings and they often play supportive role inside relationships. They also have patience but also don’t like being rushed.

With involvement of Venus through Taurus we find art, music, drawing and dance through 2. These are people who care and pay attention to others. They don’t like swearing and aggressiveness. If they’re conscious, they’re not selfish. These people are sensitive, prone to daydreaming and inspiration, shy, avoiding conflicts.

Number 2 came into this world to learn cooperation and they love being in relationships and partnerships.

When 2 is active in the sky, like today; it’s a great day for music making, drawing, artistic pursuits, romance, coming together as two, cooperation and team work. But through Moon and Taurus 2 is also connected to female energy, passive and receptive side of us, intuition but also sensuality and sex. Dancing, feeling our bodies, romance, coming together as two, cooperation.

We should definitely avoid self-pity and strive for concrete solutions in practical way.

It was there, in a game against the U.S., that Andres committed one of the most shocking mistakes in soccer history, scoring an “own goal” that eliminated his team from the competition and ultimately cost him his life. THE TWO ESCOBARS is a riveting examination of the intersection of sports, crime, and politics. For Colombians, soccer was far more than a game: their entire national identity rode on the success or failure of their team.
